This house. This couple. It was a dream project.
Loving on these old Allouez houses is, obviously, so much fun for me. It’s where we call home ourselves.
The sunshine house was bright yellow color with outdated tile floors that were built like a fortress. Literally. So much so, we had to leave them where they were, and lay the new flooring right over that castle-like structure.
The best part of remodeling a kitchen you have lived in for many years is that the homeowners are VERY aware of all the quirks and areas that don’t work for them. We were able to walk through each element with thoughtfulness and create a space for this families specific desires. They love to entertain and host holiday events. They needed something that could do just that and also be ideal for working from home.
