The original house was a beloved historic gem in downtown De Pere. The owners initially purchased it with hopes of restoring it, but unfortunately, the structure was beyond saving and had to be taken down. Fortunately for the neighborhood, the owners were committed to honoring its legacy. Today, the home stands proudly, rebuilt to reflect its original character and charm. Every salvageable element was preserved where possible. We even went in last minute with a sawzall to save a few more elements! Highlights of this thoughtful recreation include the stunning powder room, elegant lighting, and the show-stopping staircase—each a testament to the home’s timeless beauty.
